Itinerary & activities
January - March only
We meet at the harbor in Samaná Bay, where our certified crew welcomes you on board and provides a short safety and environmental briefing. Before departure, you’ll learn how we observe whales responsibly—always respecting their space and natural behavior.
We sail into the open waters of Samaná Bay, one of the world’s most important breeding grounds for humpback whales. Guided by experienced local captains and spotters, we carefully approach the whales, giving you the chance to witness breaches, tail slaps, and intimate moments between mothers and calves.
This is not a show—it’s a powerful, emotional encounter with wildlife in its purest form.
After the whale watching session, we head toward the iconic Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island). The short scenic navigation offers panoramic views of the bay and surrounding coastline—perfect for relaxing and taking photos.
Once on the island, enjoy lunch and free time to swim, relax, and disconnect. White-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and palm trees set the pace—slow and effortless. You can explore the island, enjoy a drink, or simply do nothing at all.
In the afternoon we begin our relaxed return to the mainland, bringing the experience to a close with unforgettable memories of nature, emotion, and total disconnection.
